Special events to help raise money

Here are some special events we have coordinated in the past:

  • In 2015, Fr. Cilinski Council 10947 and St. Clare of Assisi Council 12963 collaborated on a Golf Ball Drop raffle that raised over $6,000
  • Over four years, Fr. Cilinski Council 10947 and St. Clare of Assisi Council 12963 collaborated on the Fr. Julius Cilinski Memorial Golf Tournament, raising over $15,000 for VKCCI.
  • Brother Joe Cronin of Council 9428 embarked on a cross-continent bike ride, soliciting donations of a penny (or more) per mile for each mile he completed. Brother Joe’s efforts raised over $5,432.00 for VKCCI.

Contact a Board Member if your Council or District would like to conduct, or need assistance in conducting, a special fundraiser. Properly structured, participants in your event may be eligible for a tax deduction.

As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, donations to VKCCI are tax deductible to the extent the law allows. Please consult your tax adviser for specifics about the deductibility of your donation.
